Nigerian hip hop producer, Double Six comes through with this hard hitting 4-track beat tape which he titles “No Bars No Glory”. It’s been a while since he put out any material, largely due to the fact that he now hosts a podcast (The Local Talk Podcast), and is heavily engaged in creating other forms of media content. However, his peeps did not have to keep waiting too long as Double Six uses the lockdown opportunity to get back into the lab and serve pure medication in this time of despair. As a lover of beat tapes, it is quite refreshing to hear one after a long while and hopefully more will flood through the pipelines. Interestingly, Double Six says he is dedicating this project to the hip hop culture and he urges every hip hop head, MC, DJ, and poet to check it out both for their listening, and rhyming pleasure!
