Last time I heard from Syler Durden was on the Skyzoo/Lydia Caeser assisted smooth track ‘Goin Nowhere. On his latest entry ‘The Funk‘ he brings back the neck snapping boom bap funk (pun intended) courtesy of producer Confidence with cuts by DJ Devastate. This tune bangs from start to finish and Syler doesn’t disappoint on the mic either. Need I say more?

Tune in and get with the program.

NYC upstart emcee/producer and songwriter Syler continues his barrage of potent leaks with “The Funk,” as featured on his upcoming free album One Minute To Midnight, which is set for a November 19th release date. Produced by Boston’s boom-bap impresario Confidence, and featuring the razor sharp handy work of DJ Devastate, who cuts up classic quotables from both Biggie and Lords of the Underground, “The Funk” is now available for stream and download. Stay tuned for more leaks and visuals off ‘One Minute To Midnight.’
