German duo Slick Walk return with a brand new cut titled “Dichotomy” featuring Detroit veteran vocalist Paul Randolph. “Dichotomy” is a two-minute-long soulful track that really showcases Slick Walk’s dexterity when it comes to sounds and layered arrangements. They tap into the vintage era to craft a soothing and somewhat nostalgia-inducing backdrop for Randolph’s gripping vocals. The singer goes to work and delivers an alluring performance in his unique falsetto voice and the result is pure soul brilliance from start to finish.
The duo also shared with us the concept of the track which is about how opposite elements can serve as a driving force of our being and the weird dynamics between ourselves and the world at large.
