Here’s the latest visuals to Skyzoo’s newest single, Spike Lee Was My Hero, a subliminal ode to the legendary filmmaker. The beat sounds so triumphant, thanks to the big homie Tall Black Guy, which features Talib Kweli on the laced track. Peep the video; even Spike Lee makes a cameo appearance!

Upon hearing the song via his son Jackson, Spike Lee himself decided to partake in the production of the video and provide cameos throughout. Directed by Alex Ghassan, the clip is an homage to the foundation that Spike has built. Shrines, Jordan Spizikes and vintage 40 Acres & A Mule apparel all decorate the vibrant video, set in none other than a Brooklyn brownstone.

Speaking of appearances, Skyzoo will be coming to Los Angeles this friday to do his first show! Click here for the details.
