Black Roses is the second album from emcee Shottie, A sharp lyricist by all standards who mixes with adult themes and weird pop references. This project in particular shines bright, a blend of uptempo and laid back instrumentation which clearly provide variety over the underlining theme. Lyrically Shottie holds his own and his story telling abilities is note worthy as well. In a nutshell this is pure dopeness.

Tune in and get with the program.

Choice tracks: Sayonara You, Cyanide Fillet, Dream, In the presence.
