Brixton, UK -based rapper Political Peak is back in the fray as he unveils his new single “MAKE IT” to the world. The track explores several topics ranging from self-reliance, mushing through negative situations and the pitfalls of certain lifestyles. Bolstered by a dark and meaning drill-inspired backdrop comprising solemn keys, and bass-driven sparsely arranged drums, Political Peak opens up on the trials and tribulations while staying on a positive podium reminding listeners that winners never quit. Armed with his laidback flow and knack for penning graphic imagery, he runs through different events and characters he meets along his journey. Lines like “Madness and badness what we was raised up in/The way I never really wished I could erased the sin/ take it back if we really wanna take the rap/If you out on the street, you gotta make the stack” underscore the duality of his humanity. He acknowledges the bad influences, takes responsibility for the actions and he is reflective and remorseful as well.

Overall, “MAKE IT” is the perfect anthem for everyone ready to make a change in the new year.

Political Peak was born and raised in Brixton, where he was forced to endure challenging environments and become a man at a young age. Luckily he found music as his outlet and wrote his first song at 10 years of age and has followed the musical path as he traverses the mean streets of Brixton and the music studio.
