For those lucky enough to be without an ‘other half’ on this day of days, the legendary Peanut Butter Wolf has produced an equally legendary Valentines Day Mix for the dudes over at FACT. He’s performed ambitious mixes before – remember his 12 hour mix on 12/12/12? – but 24 hours is really quite a long time. Nonetheless, if there’s anyone’s record collection you want to hear for a full day then it is PBWs who’s taste in music has manifested in Stones Throw, one of the all time great labels. He’s called this mix ABCs of Love, referencing the marked day and the fact that the tracks – soul vinyls, too – are in alphabetical order. So, get comfy and prepare yourself for 500 records in 24 hours of soul 45s.
