Otis Mensah‘s new release “No Record Store Day” captures life from the inside looking out at the world. With everything still on lockdown, Mensah reflects on how life is right now and how the changes affect everyone.

Over a vintage guitar-heavy production courtesy of The Intern, Mensah also delves into a feeling of cabin fever, using the cancellation of Record Store Day as a metaphor to explore a deeper sense of social disquietude. He goes forth to paint the journey with frantic poetry, wrestling over ego and self-worth; finding the political in the personal.
