September promises to be an active month not just for album releases but concerts and events also. What I’ve listed in this post is a taster of some the events happening in the U.S and London respectively (with a few international mentions towards the end). The artists listed here are basically doing the rounds and will therefore be performing across the states on too many dates to list. Therefore, if you see them here there’s a strong chance they’re also in a town near you.

Hopefully, I’ll update this list regularly with all the weird and wonderful events I happen to stumble across over the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled.

Fat Beats

We were all saddened by the news of our beloved Fat Beats closing. It seems even those that never managed to reach the Hip Hop mecca, were in complete understanding of it’s importance and role in shaping Hip Hop music. That being said, some of the biggest names in the industry are reaching out to give the store the send off it truly deserves. What’s listed below promises to be a series of epic events, think the goodbye freestyles to Yo! MTV Raps. So if you’re in New York, you’d be crazy not to make it to at least one of these special guest features. (My bad on posting this later than the August 30th guests)

Monday, August 30th: Artifacts, Da Beatminerz, Immortal Technique and more
Tuesday, August 31st: Ras Kass, Sav KIllz, DJ Ready Cee, panel discussion and more
Wednesday, September 1st: Bobbito, Mayhem, Riz, Juggaknots, Sputnik Brown and more
