Cleveland, TN, raised Nate Rose is not new to TWIB and has delivered solid releases over the years. His new single “Golden Rule” continues in the same vein and showcases Rose’s vulnerability with a relatable context.

Backed by a dark and melancholic backdrop, Rose takes the listenr on a deeply emotional journey that captures the essence of a man trying to find his footing in this world. Rose’s laidback and honest lyrics such as “…so bad on the inside, give it anything to make it stop then/ squeeze my arm hard till it broke skin, felt relieved for a brief second but it didn’t stop then…” really set the mood and gives us a vivid image of what he is really going through. Along for the ride is Mick Jenkins who provides a moody chorus that adds a nice soulful touch to the track.
