Atlanta-based Detroit emcee MRK SX and super lyricist Elzhi team up for this solid tune titled “Zen”. Over a somber and somewhat moody backdrop, both emcees share their thoughts and perspective on being at one’s apex at all times. MRK starts it off with his laidback flow and vivid lyricism followed by Elzhi’s expressive verbal display chock full of wit and wordplay.

In 2019, he went on the  Shady Gang Tour with Crooked I, Obie Trice, and Swifty McVay and followed that up in 2020 with the single “Good Life” produced by Royce Da 5’9”.

Additionally, MRK SX has released 3 solo projects including The Sockmonster EP, “L Brick Road” and “Announcements are Overrated”. Look out for the new release “The 40 Year Old Rapper” available on all streaming platforms on 4/24 via MRK’s indie label DatFeelin.
