From Northeast D.C. Raised in Capitol Heights Maryland, rising rapper Moonie Houston is making his bones in the game with his stylish and melody-infused raps underpinned by profound and relatable lyrics. He is also a producer/engineer and started his studio in 2001 and hasn’t looked back since. 

His latest release “Muladhara” is an aspiration tune that sees him tapping into the inner to find the strength to push through the hurdles. The title refers to one of the seven primary chakras according to Hindu tantrism and it means root and flux which are the themes Moonie dwells on. The production has a cinematic and moody feel while his knack for detailed lyricism on the topic is well-crafted and engaging as well.
