South African emcee MIRE returns to our site with two new tracks from his stash. The tracks “lumberjack” and “boot-strip bill” have distinct laidback vibes that blend with his unique flow and stream-of-consciousness rap style.

“lumberjack” is the first track we have and it’s a mellow, solemn tune that sees the rapper detailing his growth and transformation.

On “boot-strip bill”, he switches the aesthetic and makes use of a dreamy cloud trap style. The production is ethereal and punchy and his flow adopts a melodic element. His lyrics are still off-kilter and doesn’t really stick to one topic but brings together his bravado and reflective mindsets.
