Emerging Kenyan/UK rapper Mezmah caught our ears with his new release titled “Nairobbery” which sees him employing a moody backdrop as his canvas. His delivery is quite engaging as he makes use of code-switching to drive home his point as he reflects on his hometown of Nairobi. He gives listeners a glimpse into life back in Kenya and the dynamics of street life, social-political unrest and an unfiltered perspective that is brutally honest and thought-provoking.
