Matt Nye returns with two singles “Bugs to the light” and “Travelin’ on” which sees him teaming with Mark Vasquez.

“Bugs to the light” is the first one that sees Matt in tongue-in-cheek mode as he reflects on his own upbringing and his various experiences weaving through this crazy world where no one really cares for you. Matt is quite unapologetic and somewhat nonchalant as he tackles issues like the lack of father figures, self-doubt, daily tribulations, and more.

The second tune “Travelin’ on” is a collaboration with vocalist Mark Vasquez who provides an emotional performance with his gruff and melodic vocal runs. Both emcees dwell on lovelorn experiences and the need to keep pushing even if the soul is empty.
