ATL-based NY-native rapper JustFresh started off with poetry in middle school and shortly after discovered hip-hop in high school. After dropping a handful of mixtapes, he released 3 albums from 2011 to 2018 and after taking a hiatus, the multi-talented artist is back with his brand-new single “Hustle Til The 1st”. The single serves as a precursor to his forthcoming EP What’s It Worth?
The self-produced track has a moody lofi vibe with its dark textures and dreamy pads laced over soft drums. As an emcee, JustFresh can hold his own and he pends profound lyrics steeped in reality as he takes listeners deep into his life and shows us the many scars, failings and wins as well. he reminds us that every day is an opportunity to get closer to one’s goals and giving up is not an option.
