Fast-rising Houston rapper, and OG Maco affiliate, John Ibe delivers the brand new music video for hard-hitting single titled ‘F.O.M’, taken from his long-awaited forthcoming EP JIBE, which is scheduled for release in the summer, and follows on from his acclaimed 2016 mixtape Obstructed Environments. The EZM produced  ‘F.O.M’ is a hard-hitting rap track from John Ibe, backed by daunting grand piano arrangements, and highlighted by the Houston native’s trademark assured cadence, vivid wordplay and infectious rap flow.

John Ibe previously dropped his EZM produced banger ‘F.O.M‘ earlier this month and he returns with the official music video. Directed by Reeves Junya, the visuals feature John Ibe bouncing throughout downtown L.A, in a fitting visual to highlight John’s sentiment on ‘F.O.M’ of having your own back against all odds – the Houston native is back and here to stay!

Talking about how his ‘F.O.M’ music video came about, John Ibe says, “There’s a time and place when you feel the world is against you, and you are the only one who has your own back, if you’re going through that feeling, then you will relate to ‘F.O.M’. The video came about when I was on the train in New York recently, I figured I had to craft a visual that portrays how I’m the only one who really has my back in this rap game, everything else is just extra”.
