It is interesting how rapper/songwriter James Gardin keeps changing his style with every release. Known for his soul-infused music, James is taking his conscious style to another level (literally) as shown in his recent releases which saw him employing more mainstream sounds with the integrity of his music still intact. His latest offering “Keep Climbing” continues in the same vein as he makes use of an energetic trap soundscape made up of frenzied synths, thick 808s and rolling snares. As the title suggests, the track is an affirmative and uplifting tune aimed to get us in the spirit to chase our goals. Known for his positive outlook, Gardin reminds us that the only way is up and he is ready to help us get there.
