Alternative hip-hop Izzaldin returns with his new single “Downtown 04” which serves as the 8th single from his recently released album, Futura in Retrograde. The track is a cinematic and nostalgic piece that explores Izzaldin’s change in lifestyle when he first moved from Indianapolis to New York. Backed by the scenic, futuristic synths and heavy drums, Izzaldin paints a picture of his early years in New York and all the different spots he used to visit as he got acclimatized into the culture over there.

The video is archival footage of Izzaldin and his group in the early New York years. CBGB, Don Hills, Joe’s Pub, Mercury lounge, and Knitting factory are a few venues that can be seen in this video.
