Prolific producer IM’PERETIV and lyricist CHAYNA ASHLEY return with their third and final single “Dear Lord” as they prepare to drop their forthcoming collaboration album. The new single in question continues the duo’s lyrical-dense releases that showcase CHAYNA’s vivid pen game and commanding vocal tone to the fullest. Over the cryptic and dark mellow backdrop provided by IM’PERETIV, CHAYNA brings pure verbal flames to the microphone with witty bars, graphic imagery, and lines like “double arms then I open up the palms, Hadouken/While artists animating words cartoonists, huh!!”. She also brings in Philly emcee Dutch Brown, Dan Barz, and Brillo to add their own 2 cents to the mix. Dutch Brown is in rare form with the verbal body blows and vivid bars like “With a single-arm, I can snuff a single swarm/Call a nigga bluff, I make sure to keep my ringer on“. Dan Barz and Brillo are not far behind and help close the track with their laid-back and engaging bars that would keep lovers of lyricism smiling from ear to ear.
