Tokyo beatsmiths ill sugi and bugseed return to celebrate the urban aura with the upcoming LP City Mind, out on Radio Juicy on the 9th of this month. Their complimentary workings of Roland 404 workstations and nostalgic samples have lead them to collaborate many times before, but City Mind looks to be their most superior work yet, an intricate interpretation of jazzy, dark boom-bap, a mix of beats reminiscent of late-night drives through empty city streets.
