On this ‘Untouchable‘(no pun intended) cut, producer G-Rod laces a super tight vintage slow banger and enlists the lyrical skills of the one and only Chi-Ali. I must say this is quite surprising and I’m sure old heads will be definitely gravitate towards this. I myself haven’t heard much from Chi-Ali besides hooking up with Skyzoo for the excellent ‘Jansport Strings Remix’ and a freestyle over Jigga’s “A Million Questions’ where he addresses some delicate personal issues(i’m not even going to dive into that right now) but this is quite refreshing. Simply put, it kinda feels great to see Chi-Ali back on the scene.

Veteran Bronx producer G-Rod is pleased to release “Untouchable,” the latest release from his Sour Music Group imprint, featuring Bronx rap legend Chi-Ali. “Untouchable” boasts G-Rod’s signature boom-bap style production and scratch composition, coupled with Ali’s braggadocio rhyme schemes to create a rather potent East Coast themed underground anthem. “Untouchable” is now available for download via all major digital retailers.
