If you were in attendance last sunday at Zanzibar, you were there to witness awesome talent showcasing their best beats around in honoring DJ Khalil as their inspiration. There were a lot of people in the house who came down and witness one of the best beat showcases I’ve been to (so far). The vibe in the place felt great, as it was more of a partying type-of event than anything else. In addition, you had folks there from the commercial scene to the underground all under one roof, uniting for a common cause: to recognize one another as one unit representing for Los Angeles in the music scene!
