Reluctantly, I pressed play on this and boy am I glad I did. Never would I have thought this would sound as good as it does. This has definitely opened me up to The ELLE and I can only imagine what else she has got in the bag. Just so I am clear, nothing compares to the original Machine Gun Funk as done by Biggie Smalls or as more popularly called, Notorious BIG but the cover as done by soulful songstress is in a class of its own. Press play like Diddy and overstand what I’m saying.
