Der Witz is a cat straight out of San Francisco and he hits us with a joint called ‘Smooth’ that lives up to its name. Much props to Marcelandrie for cooking this up. This is the type of song that is right up my alley; that jazz and soul feel just takes me away into a different time zone and space. His flow, too, is just right to match the backing track. If the word reaching me is anything to go by, then Der Witz is very much on that jazz groove with his sound, and I definitely look forward to hear more him. Here, he drops a visual which I believe is just a teaser, a quick peek into his world – son, you can’t do this to us, we need more. And you can get more by just looking up his Nancy Reagan EP.
