Spanish producer Miguel Martín known professionally as Cheap Monk is a multi-faceted multi-instrumentalist and musician who takes inspiration from a multitude of genres and musical styles to create his unique blend. His latest release titled “Ostro” is a collaboration with guitarist David Briales (half of the duo Papabuddha) and the two deliver a soul-stirring and nostalgia-inducing piece ripe with layered arrangements and an off-centre groove. From the rich Spanish guitar licks, soothing pads, soothing synths and subtle percussions, listeners are given a sublime taste of their hometown of Malaga with a touch of 90s East Coast hip-hop.

“Ostro” is the first track from the EP entitled “Ánemos,” the EP will encompass the three tracks born from this collaboration.
