On the song, he teams up with Hudson Mohawke and Tobias Jesso Jr to craft a heartwarming record that is both relatable and entertaining. Backed by an infectious groove and bright lush textures, Cautious Clay dwells on being true to oneself regardless of what the environment thinks.

The video for the song was made with Brooklyn based director Haoyan of America who’s previous work includes the incredible music video for Crumb‘s song “Locket”. It shows Clay going through a rollercoaster of emotions as he juggles life, friends and music.
