Brooklyn emcee Bub Styles returns to the fore with the visuals for his new song “Carhartt Cartel” featuring Bronx rapper Dot Demo. The track is produced by Styles’ longtime collaborator Ace Fayce (he produced both the Bub solo LP and their group project release FLEEMRKT last year), who crafts a brooding backdrop for the duo to paint gritty images over. Bub Styles leads the charge with his signature gruff vocals and off-the-cuff lyrics followed by Dot Demo’s smooth and laidback delivery.

The video is well crafted and captures both emcees in their element doing what they do best. It’s well-shot and shows viewers different parts of the city as well.

“Carhartt Cartel” is taken from his Outerwear Szn LP which will drop on 3/18 and also features an appearance from his FLEEMRKT rhyme-partner ARXV as well as production from NV, Dray Yard, Rocone, Michaelangelo, Dredi, Retrospec, and Brassxbeard.
