Experimental lo-fi rap duo Blanco Suave returns with a brand new release “Bike Ride” that really showcases their eclectic style. The track which is produced by Luke Arquette has a smooth, solemn texture peppered with lush horns and soft keys over mellow drums. It feels like something from an 80s noir flick and sure fits Gretchen McKenzie-Trost‘s off-kilter lyrics and hushed delivery. Gretchen doesn’t let up on this one and lets the listener know that she is comfortable in her own lane. With lyrics like “I don’t like jealousy, what’s mine is mine../You close doors, I open sesame…”, she keeps the stream of consciousness theme flowing.

“Bike Ride” is off Blanco Suave’s upcoming mixtape.
