Love Supersedes is a major unknown gem released this year. Awon is a brother you should keep an eye on 2011 too, an amazing storyteller with a smooth flow and an ability to ride the beat with ease. (Listen carefully to “Crimes Of Passion“)
The production is handled entirely by San Antonio producer Kameleon. And it’s done with great style and flare.
“Love Supersedes” reminds me at points, to a modern day Pete Rock & Cl Smooth, in the way Awon and Kameleon gel so well together on the track.
