Jack Gillen has spent the last few years playing guitar alongside artists in many different styles, as well as working as a musical director, songwriter and producer. During this period he has been digging deeper into developing his own musical identity, and the result is a distinctive style informed by the many different influences experienced at different stages of life. Years of classical guitar study as a child, an adolescent obsession with Jimi Hendrix and electric blues (meanwhile also listening to plenty of hip-hop and classic soul), followed by a simultaneous fascination with jazz (including 3 years studying Jazz at Leeds College of Music) and great songwriters. The DNA of all of this musical experience permeates Jack’s compositions, his playing, and his approach to music. His debut EP “The Long Way Down” (2018) marks the beginning of his career as an artist in his own right.

Beats In The Bank produces versatile hip-hop and R&B inspired by a wide range of musical styles. Besides having worked with underground and mainstream artists in Norway, the UK and the US for many years, Beats In The Bank credits include music for brands such as Nike, Dunkin’ Donuts, Comcast, Vogue, and Google.
