Blessing us with new material for the 1st of the new month of March is a newly formed Hip-Hop quartet called “Bad Poetry Club“.  The crew is made up of four individuals who fuse different artistic proficiencies into something fresh and original.  Made up of Vocalist Michael Wilbur, producer/rapper Tonio Sagan, Beatboxer/producer Honeycomb and rapper Sotorious(of Political Animals fame). They blend beat boxing, rap, jazz and electronic elements on their lead single “The Words“. Fiery raps were delivered by the 2 emcees, who both brilliantly execute a double time flow with enough graphic imagery to keep your mind enthralled for the full length of the song. The excitement doesn’t stop there as the progressive soundscape keeps the energy flowing from start to finish.

Together, these four artists, with additional instrumentation provided by Garrett Sawyer on bass, display a clear knack for collaborating on “The Words,” a brassy slapper that perfectly blends the styles and sounds of everyone involved. It also bodes extremely well for their self-titled debut. The record doesn’t have a release date just yet, but this joint is definitely enough to hold us over until more details trickle out.

The Words” is now available for stream, and can be purchased through all major digital retailers!
