‘This One’ by Avant-Garde MC is a short layered ride through the foggy twisted mind frame of said artist. Ever since he dropped the excellent ‘God’s Chalice‘, he kinda went under the radar to work on his upcoming tape entitled 2v Sides of the Same: Spittin’ Images. Maybe its me but this feels too short for a single although the vibe is definitely on point.

” So with the help of a close friend and fellow artist I was finally able to pick a leading single from the upcoming tape. I asked myself which piece would leave a lasting impression and make cats kinda wonder what was to come…. this is what I came up with and shouts to my dude who made the definitive pick. Through recent growth since the last project it’s like i’m an entirely new artist and this is a perfect representation of it.
