So Lightsdawn contacted me yesterday through twitter, about they latest album, to give it a listen and see what we thought. But then Bob42jh, (know editor, to all of you that visit WIB)…told me that he was familiar with the work and that the music was very dope, that got me real curious. So after giving a good listen this morning, I was amazed by the raw talent of lightsdawn, and that original feel good acoustic sound.
Lightsdawn is a 4 man band…MC, an MPC/drum programmer, a acoustic guitar player, and a drummer. with a heavy enfasis on that acoustic guitar….and they blend it all together beautifully, and the results are self evident…if you haven’t played both tracks above….well…you should go ahead and press play…this is something you need to have in your library. The album is only 5 tracks deep, so that means that it’s very affordable, so anyone could get they hands on it…and support them, so they continue to make this Ill music.
