Multi-talented rapper/singer Ashley Artisan‘s new release “Nine to Five” is an unapologetic and somewhat humorous tale of what happens on her day job. Backed by a smooth, soulful backdrop, Artisan tasks the listener on an activity-filled journey from where she clocks in at work till closing time. The best parts are the various colorful characters and the mild drama that happens in between.

Artisan’s approach is quite unique and relatable as she gives us a somewhat nuanced perspective on how the job affects her as a human. It’s quite relatable, heartfelt, and entertaining as well.
