Amerigo Gazaway has just released the highly anticipated Yasiin Gaye: The Return (Side Two) album. 

For those that are unaware, the Yasiin Gaye project is one that marries Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) lyricism with Marvin Gaye soul. The resulting combination is something truly special. Amerigo Gazaway set the internet on fire when he released the first Yassin Gaye project entitled Yasiin Gaye: The Depature (Side One) earlier this year. The first project was eventually taken down due to copyright issues but it appears to be back up for download now. Amerigo Gazaway takes the concept of the first project and expands it even further with Yasiin Gaye: The Return (Side Two). The new album features 19 tracks of pure musical bliss, its simply enjoyable to hear Yasiin Bey and Marvin Gaye bounce off one another. Amerigo Gazaway takes Marvin Gaye production and perfectly meshes it with Yasiin Bey rhymes. Guest features include The Temptations, Chuck Berry, Talib Kweli, and Ghostface Killah. The resulting album is spectacular and shouldn’t be missed by any music fan.
