Emerging rap artist AJ, the One newest release is a sensual video for her single “Sugar Cane” which captures the essence of her femininity.

Backed by a moody, somewhat lethargic backdrop, she delivers a plethora of witty and thought-provoking lines that tap into her womanhood. She approaches it from a very unapologetic manner and really gives the listener something to dwell on while sprinkling in her undeniable sensuality into the mix. With lines like  “…all we do talk about is music, make this thing a jacuzzi/ Sugar cane, I’m a smoothie, Jamba Jamba, she juicy…” she makes it known that she is confident in her skin and she could care less for whoever feels different.

The video is quite novel too, from the bright colors, abstract-like motifs, and visual effects, We get to see AJ front center as a somewhat enigmatic figure celebrating her self and those that came before her.
