The “Crab Season Intro” starts with a sample from the legendary TV show, The Wire, which helps set the tone from the grounded themes (real-time issues) and location (Baltimore).  B.Eveready steps into the role of the narrator and documentarian who takes listeners on a ride through the city with his commanding flow and detailed lyricism. Along the way, he also taps the assistance of a handful of emcees who share a similar vision. Tracks like “All Due Respect” featuring MC Bravado, “Apocalypse Now” featuring Ill Conscious, and “No handouts” with Jon Wells all thread along the lines of growth, self-reflection and a dash of rap bravado. There is always a message being conveyed, as B.Eveready gives audiences a glimpse and them some with detailed storytelling on tracks like “We Built This City (Extended Clip)”  and “Memory Lane.”

Overall, the project is a combination of well-crafted beats that range from soulful to edgy while B. Eveready and his rapping cohorts all bring home the goods with excellent rapping from start to finish.
