MC/producer duo  Ill Conscious and Mute Won  hit us with the visual for their first collaborative single titled “Mutiny.” The single serves as the focus track from the duo’s forthcoming project and helps acclimate the listeners to their style of insightful raps over edgy backdrops. “Mutiny” hits the mark with its dark, cinematic textures and gritty drums courtesy of Mute Won while Ill Conscious delivers a stunning performance. The emcee doesn’t shy away from being brutally honest as he touches on real-time issues ranging from the present Coronavirus pandemic to the stigma of immunizations for schools in urban areas.

With Trill is Bliss behind the lens, Baltimore’s charm and grime are captured in the solid visuals for “Mutiny” alongside the mc’s openly rebelling through social & political commentary. The video also boasts cameos from their brethren Dirt Platoon and Shef Kutz.

“Mutiny” is the first single and visual from the Acres of Diamonds album by ILL Conscious and Mute Won. ILL dives into the current state of affairs. With Baltimore and Camden being similar in its grungy aesthetic, the artistic chemistry between ILL & Mute will serve as promising to the listener. The level of introspection and conceptual songs make this album more personable conjoined with a theatrical soundtrack. The 12 track LP is projected to be a late Spring 2020 Release with features that include The Tutelage’s own, Jay Royale accompanied by underground juggernauts Planet Asia, Rome Streetz, Snook Da Crook (Dirt Platoon) & King Magnetic.
