First of all, we would like to welcome you all to 2018. The past year has seen a lot of growth, changes and whatnot but regardless we are still here. We at TWIB are always looking at new ways to help showcase new hiphop artists from around the globe and as promised we will ensure to bring nothing but the best of the underground to the foreground.

For the premier week of 2018, we present to you the submissions that caught our ears and eyes. Check it out below and show the artists some much needed love.

Hadj DSE  – Euphoria Feat. NBDMG & Selfishszn  

Hadj DSE taps into the D.A.I.S.Y A.G.E for some inspiration on his new single “Euphoria”. Teaming up with  NBDMG & Selfishszn  and producer Mellowdrama who crafts a bouncy summery sounndscape for the trio.

 

Eddy Rotten x Mellow Thing – For a Girl like You. (Ft. Rudy Mora, Karlton Phre$h)

Santa Ana, Ca Native Eddy Rotten (Edward Miguez) serves us his brand of hiphop fused with punk elements. The sombre/gloomy track is a genre bending record that flirts with the idea of being rock and being hiphop), his single for his upcoming Mellow Thing Produced project “And then the skies were grey…”. This single was dedicated to all those that sacrificed so much for someone that was never content.

 

HVDES X JOSVANI – Underground (Freestyle)

The duo of HVDES X JOSVANI team up for a tag team effort titled “Underground (Freestyle)”. This is some throwback, all bars no gimmicks type track.

 

Emily Georgia – No Rebound

Emily Georgia debuts on TWIB with her unorthodox brand of hiphop fused with rnb and pop sensibilities.  On her single “No Rebound” she sends a clear warning to any wannna be players with shady intentions towards her.

 

DeeZystep – Once in a While

DJ/Producer DeeZystep comes through with an inspirational joint to wrap things up. THE SF bay Area, CA artist delivers an insightful perspective on his new single “One In A While” which he says was inspired by people around him and also dedicated to his late older brother Brandon. It’s about trying to stay sane & make sense of living through the ups & downs of life, working hard to come out on top of the struggle with a smile on your face, and seeking hope when you’re in despair. The song is off his upcoming album “Surreality” which is set for a the 19th of January.
