Notes to Self are no strangers to The Word is Bond. We have featured them here several times throughout the years and it’s safe to say that we are huge fans. I don’t know why it took so long for me to get them on the radio program. This was long overdue.

WIB Rap Radio Hour – Notes to Self by Thewordisbond.Com on Mixcloud

I had a great time hanging out with them and Gamma Krush at The Cookout earlier this summer. It was a great hip-hop festival thrown by In Tha Kut Radio and Trilateral Entertainment. I have already aired the interview I did with Frankie Payne there but I still have a few more that I will be sharing with you in the coming months. Make sure you keep it locked to The Word is Bond Rap Radio Hour so you won’t miss any of our exclusive interviews.

Today, Gamma Krush and I talk to Notes to Self, a four-man crew hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The group consists of Swamp Donkey, Bronze One, and Roshin, along with DJ Dopey.

We talk about how they worked with a Grade 4 class to create a music video as a year-end class project, their long history in the Canadian hip-hop scene,

And we play some of their great music including these awesome tunes!
