So in the same vein, this weekly list sheds light on budding and even established producers who continue to push the envelope for the culture. So sit back relax and get familiar with these producers.

Kurt Stewart – intuition

Boston, MA producer Kurt Stewart delivers a mellow, soothing soundscape in the form of his single titled “Intuition”. Merging hip-hop with soul/r&b elements, his sound is pretty slick and also has some lo-fi ambiance to it too.

 “intuition” is a song that represents Kurt’s current emotional state. He’s tired from a long few months but has found hope in the changing of the seasons. 


Baraka – Ocean

Producer Baraka‘s “Ocean” is a smooth track that feels like something from a retro drama, he blends dreamy vocals against soulful guitar plucks and groovy hiphop drums.

June Jissle – March

June Jissle returns with his monthly beat release. This time he pays homage to the month of March. Using choppy drums, pitched vocals and dreamy keys, he brings a solid one on this release.

Gohan Blanco – Nintendo

Gohan Blanco (AKA Machado Mijiga) is a Portland-based multi-instrumentalist and producer. With a focus on composition and homemade samples, Gohan Blanco fuses many genres into the lo-fi sound palette, borrowing from the aesthetics of video games, anime, and nature to create soundscapes that take the soul on a musical safari.



Bronze – Sienna.

London based hip-hop producer Bronze wraps up this edition with a soulful downtempo number he calls “Sienna”. He crafted this joint using mellow rnb vocals, dreamy keys and lo-fi pads to match. he is currently working on his debut album “jewels” which will drop later this year.
