sptfy.com/tlldwnloyaltyIt won’t be fair not to show love to the cats that work behind the boards. Cats whose soundscapes help push hip-hop to loft heights. So in the same vein, this weekly list sheds light on budding and even established producers who continue to push the envelope for the culture. So sit back relax and get familiar with these producers.
Remember, don’t forget to support them by sharing their works.

E Dot – Boho Meets Boom Bap.

E Dot  never disappoints and its only right for him to help kick off the list with another dope produce. This time he blends a nice vocal sample with solemn vibes over solid boom-bap drums. Need we say more. Total dopeness from top to bottom

TLLDWN – Loyalty.

TLLDWN (Till Dawn), a producer duo from Munich, Germany consisting of Capital P. and Heartbeatz brings us to the new age with this anthemic, dark banger titled “Loyalty”. They blend hard-hitting drums, garnnished with crazy 808 rhythms which switches into a dark, deep and strong melodic hook. Get it on spotify

Baraka – Well Water.

Geoffrey Dean aka Baraka takes it down a notch on this mellow instrumental titled “Well Water”. Using airy pitched down vocal samples, surreal keys and trap-ish drums to create a soothing soundscape for everyone to enjoy.

Radicule. – morning dew.

Radicule‘s soothing “morning dew” instrumental makes this list with its somber atmosphere and snappy drums.  The beat is the ninth track off of the Dust Collectors compilation, Seasonal Sounds 5: Fall, it it is only but one gem among a treasure trove of beats from 44 artists. Get it on Spotify

Ikane C. & Hey Nanou – Loop the Loop.

Ikane C. (real name Samuel Jones) takes us into a chilled zone on his new instrumental “Loop The Loop”. He teams up with Hey Nanou on this one and they said the inspiration came from chilled atmosphere of a cedar forest in the south of France. The field-recordings were combined with a mellow Rhodes piano performance to which we added a smooth melody played with a Telecaster guitar. The vocal sample reminded us of an old movie and acts as a sort of mantra creating a meditative place within the woods. Get the audio here.

nottr – Oh you know!.

You can hardly go wrong with a Biggie sample and nottr shows us that on his new banger titled “Oh you know!”. Using piano sprinkles, jazz stabs, hard-hitting drum and of course the aforementioned Biggie sample he helps wrap the list on a solid note.
