While I’m a total sucker for “conscious rap”, I do appreciate an occasional bang your head type rap if you catch my drift. I think the aim is to find a balance between entertaining and passing a message. Great emcees have managed to do both-a not so easy feat if you asked me and more than often one falls short of the other.

Noah Vinson’sMy Generation’s Theme Song‘ is thought provoking, far from sensationalizing what goes on in the minds and lives of today’s youths and people in general but rather a somewhat microscopic look into said issue.
