Savant – Iron Bars feat. Papoose, Justin Tyme & Kool G Rap
The name Savant sounds familiar, but that aside this new cut aptly titled ‘Iron Bars’ from the man goes in. He also enlists the verbal skills of New York heavyweights such as Kool G Rap (on the hook) and Papoose while Swiss lyricist Justin Tyme lays the second verse. Beat wise, J Cardim displays his production chops and I still wonder why peeps don’t give him enough credit for his work. This is essentially that testosterone charged braggadocio posse cut for cats that need it to get through their day.
Tune in and get with the program.
In preparation for the 2nd installment of DJ Jesaya and Flaming Monkey’s “Operation Hope” compilation and his own “Initial Entry” mixtape, recently minted Los Angeles (by way of Chicago) emcee, Savant aka Stanstro unites with hip hop legend Kool G Rap, NY rap staple Papoose and Flaming Monkey flagship Swiss barsmith Justin Tyme over an orotund J.Cardim sonic backdrop.
