Another throwback this Sunday. Today I present to you Learn To Earn from Down To Erf, a Canadian trio who only released one record, a self titled EP released in 1998. This track was also on the ‘Rap Essentials V0lume 1’ compilation released by Beat Factory Music in ’96, a groundbreaking release especially in Canadian Hip Hop. The beat on this is especially dope, a forlorn sax riff and empty bass echoing throughout, and the MCs do their bit, making this a certified underground 90s classic.
