The latest track in World Around Record’s on-going Single Series is ‘Rendezvous’ by WIB favourite Zilla Rocca. This track is truthfully the kind I would skip on an LP; its just not the content I look for in rap. But there’s room for everything in this genre and it is an undoubtedly solid track regardless that bucks the stereotypical crassness of something like LL’s ‘Backseat‘ thanks to Zilla’s comparatively restrained account and Small Professor‘s smoothly intimate production.
