Philly based producer Small Professor is definitely not staying silent as he lends his art to speak. On his new poignant single, “wish cops would stop killing unarmed black people,” he dedicates the solemn track to the memory of Breonna Taylor. The piano-laced song centers on a flip of Special Ed’s powerful verse from “Crooklyn,” which resonates just as strongly now as it did for Spike Lee’s 1994 classic film.

The track will be featured on the first volume of Small Pro’s A Jawn Supreme series due out next Friday, June 26, through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms with future installments dropping later this year.

T-shirts featuring the single artwork collage of Breonna designed by Dewey Saunders (Spike Lee, Anderson .Paak, Future) are available now in both white and dark grey heather, as well as Breonna’s two favorite colors; blue and purple. Merchandise may be purchased through either Coalmine Records’ online store, or through Small Pro’s Bandcamp page. 100% of all proceeds will be donated towards Breonna’s official GoFundMe, with Bandcamp’s share made for all Juneteenth sales donated towards the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
