Rising emcee/producer Yury takes his art to a very deep level and always aim to deliver off-the-cuff songs delivered in his own manner. He strays from the usual and doesn’t conform to the rules in any way, shape or form. On his new self-produced song “Books”, he crafts a dark, gloomy trap influenced cut laced with booming 808s, cinematic textures all cemented by the rapper’s laid-back drawl and smooth flow.He further explains the idea behind the track as follows “I was drawn to this eerie feedback loop and just decided to sample it on the spot. From there I went more avant-garde with the 808s using a very destructive chop and paste approach. The aggressive nature of the production inspired the self-starter lyrics and demeanor. We are planning a comprehensive promotional push, with press from major publications and strategized social content, to maximize engagement from our strong fanbase.”
