YUGEN BLAKROK shares the visuals for her song “Ochre”  which sees her undergoing a personal quest as she celebrates her ancestral roots on the gripping track. The title is an ode to the red, yellow, and white pigment that is important in Xhosa rituals and traditions.

Backed by a dark, cinematic soundscape,  YUGEN BLAKROK delivers a solid performance laced with vivid lyrics such as “…Swimming in the rings of radiant energy, a case of the evergreen are coming to the flow of chi…” depicting herself as an entity flowing through this huge green matter called Earth.

The video is shot in an exotic location that follows her on a personal journey of growth and recalibration of her being.
